Terms of Use

1. Who runs the website

Suryoyo Sat is run by two associations:

• Bahrosuryoyo Mediaförening: Klockarvägen 104, 151 61 Södertälje, Sweden. Responsible for the website, its forms, the live chat, email updates and payments made in Sweden.
• AMD Suryoyo Sat: Georgstraße 6, 33330 Gütersloh, Germany, represented by its chair Nail Can. Responsible for membership sign-ups through the SEPA form and for payments to the German account.

2. What the website offers

On the website you will find:

• the live stream of our TV channel;
• videos from our YouTube channel;
• the liturgical calendar;
• a list of events;
• forms to contact us, propose a programme, submit an event or send a death notice;
• a live chat;
• information about donations and membership.

3. Content and copyright

The programmes, logos and videos on this website belong to Suryoyo Sat or to their rights holders.

• You may watch them for personal, non-commercial use.
• You are welcome to share links to the website and to our videos.
• You may not re-broadcast or download our programmes without our written permission.

4. Live chat rules

Messages in the live chat are public: everyone watching can see them. When you use the chat:

• Be respectful.
• No hate speech, threats or harassment.
• No spam or advertising.
• Nothing illegal.
• Do not share other people’s personal data, such as phone numbers or addresses.

Our staff may remove messages and block users who break these rules.

5. What you send us

When you use our forms (contact, programme proposals, events, death notices):

• You confirm that you have the right to send what you submit.
• For a death notice, you confirm that you have the family’s permission and the right to use the photos.
• We may edit or shorten any submission, or decide not to broadcast it.
• Sending a programme proposal does not oblige us to air it.
• By sending material, you allow Suryoyo Sat to use it for the purpose you sent it for (for example, to announce an event or to broadcast a death notice).

6. Donations and membership

• Donations are voluntary.
• You can give by Swish, by bank transfer or through Bankgiro. In Sweden, membership is also possible through Autogiro.
• The website does not take card payments.
• A membership through the SEPA form on the website only becomes valid once you have returned the signed SEPA mandate to AMD Suryoyo Sat.

7. External links and embedded players

The website shows YouTube videos and the Castr live player, and links to our pages on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram. These services have their own terms and privacy policies, which apply when you use them. We are not responsible for their content.

8. Availability

We provide the website and the live stream as they are. We do our best to keep them running, but they may be interrupted, for example by technical problems or maintenance.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for damage caused by using the website or by interruptions. This does not limit any liability that cannot be excluded by law, for example for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence.

10. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. The date at the top shows when they were last updated. If you keep using the website after a change, the new terms apply.

11. Governing law

Swedish law applies to the website and to payments made in Sweden. German law applies to membership with AMD Suryoyo Sat. This does not take away any consumer protection rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
